I saw this product at Turntable Lab and I thought it would be better to order it direct from Japan but that was a huge mistake. I ordered the CP2 disc player as well as aluminum stand. The cost was $268 USD.

I was billed $212.64 by DHL to receive the item on top of what I had already paid otherwise they would increase the fee or have to ship it back to seller. Almost $500 for this item!

I contacted KM5 and they couldn’t help me so I had to dispute with DHL which slightly lowered it but not by much.

The cd player is minimal and beautiful design and form wise. But the materials are very thin and cheap. Often when I play discs, they skip. I have it paired with my Bluetooth speaker and not once does it play without skipping.

It’s very light, not durable but attractive to the eye. Japanese brand but made in China.

If I could go back in time, I would have purchased from the USA. But I’m not sure if I would even want to buy this cd player as it looks better than it performs.

スピーカーで使用しています。好みの外見に、概ね満足できる音質でした。軽いのも良いです。蓋がちょっと埃が付きやすいので、丁寧な扱いの心がけがいりますね。

Really nice CD player. Does everything you would want from one and looks really cool in the process. I bought the one with the speaker thinking it wouldn't be that good, but it is surprisingly good quality. It's not crazy or anything and some sounds like piano cause the case to reveverate, but it's very usable. The only feature I wish it had is the ability to connect to a computer and play music over USB.

CD player is exactly as expected! Easy to use, and the sound is surprisingly good for a small device.

Product was great. Forgot about tarriffs being a thing for the US so that sucked.

Thank you for your review! We're glad you're happy with the product itself. We're sorry the customs/tariff costs came as a surprise — we'll look into ways to make this clearer at checkout for international customers.
